KSA Training and Consultancy Ltd was established in March 2006. Directors Karen Hawkins and Dave Aukett have proven records of success within police, local government, voluntary organisations and youth offending services. In addition KSA have a range of associate consultants who are specialists in their field and are deployed to ensure that clients' needs are fully met.

With the appropriate skills and an enthusiasm to make a difference, every person can enhance the working effectiveness of an organisation. We believe that an independent perspective can add significant value to reviewing practice and improving performance as well as introducing new initiatives and approaches.

Directors
Karen Hawkins, Director, founded KSA Training and Consultancy in 2004. She began her career in residential childcare and continued working with young people and families through a variety of settings including the youth justice system and fostering and adoption.
Noted for her passion, knowledge and enthusiasm, Karen is a highly thought of professional with extensive experience in restorative approaches. Karen has dedicated many years to the training and development of organisations working to improve the lives of disadvanatged people. Recent work includes the development, implementation and training of restorative approaches within residential establishments, police forces, education settings and local authorities. Karen has also managed and delivered a project to recruit and assess prospective foster carers for a national fostering agency.
Karen's professional and approachable style has ensured 100% satisfaction from all KSA's clients.
Dave Aukett, Director of Consultancy, has an early background in policing and community safety management. He worked for over 10yrs as a consultant to the Youth Justice Board and has also worked with ACPO, DCSF and the Home Office. His interest in the practical application of government programmes has led to a wide range of clients who have utilised his skills and experience to support implementation and train delivery teams.
Between 2003-05 he managed of a programme of support to over 800 youth crime prevention projects and has contributed on guidance for Youth Inclusion Projects, Youth Inclusion and Support Panels, Positive Actvities for Young People and Safer School Partnerships.
Since 2005 he has been a Director of KSA leading on a wide range of work in UK and overseas. Recently he has worked with the London Criminal Justice Board on the design and implementation of the 'Triage' Youth justice model and supported the development of Safer School Partnerships in many Police Forces across England and Wales. His recent work has included training and support to areas implementing Youth Justice Liaison and Diversion projects.
